Objectives
  • To network, collaborate, acquire and disseminate information on sexual and reproductive health and rights in relation to women and the girl child.
  • To provide skills training in the area of sexual and reproductive health and rights in order to see a reduction in STIs/HIV among women and the girl child
  • To market and provide backup support of WASN developed gender tools for replication by other NGOs and ASOs.
  • To gender sensitize people in key positions of leadership in an effort to create a supportive environment for women and girls
  • To conduct research and advocate for policy change on women and HIV/AIDS
  • To create a supportive environment in which infected or affected women are afforded the opportunity to make informed decisions about their reproductive lives.
     
Mission statement

WASN is a women's organisation that seeks to address women's issues in the area of HIV/AIDS through advocacy, support and networking.
The support mechanisms include:

  • Facilitating access to services, like health and counseling
