Objectives |
| The
National Trust was established in 1960 by Act of Parliament.
It is
involved with the preseravation and protection of our heritage
The Trust
is modelled on similar lines to those of England, Wales and
Northern Ireland with the object of holding and maintaining
any properties in trust for the benefit and enjoyment of all
the people of Zimbabwe.
This includes
not only the preservation and protection of lands and buildings
of national archaeological, historical or aesthetic interest,
but also natural resources, fauna and flora.
The list
can be extended to incorporate objects and collections of
interest as defined above. Also works of art, stamps and literature.
These are available to the public for purposes of recreation,

Electronic
activism . . . get involved and use ICTs to advocate, lobby and mobilize.
Powerlessness
and silence go together. We should use our positions not as a shelter from the
world's reality, but as a platform from which to speak. A voice is a gift. It
should be cherished and used.

Atwood
