Objectives
  • Treatment of epilepsy
  • Awareness of epilepsy
  • Making available resources for epilepsy through fundraising, lobbying and advocacy.
  • Capacity building and empowerment.
  • Social rehabilitation of people living with epilepsy

Comment
Our major problem is that members run out of anti-epilepsy medication resulting in defaulting treatment prematurely resulting in recurrence of epileptic seizures.

Mission Statement
We endeavour to treat epilepsy and fully rehabilitate people with the condition in Zimbabwe with a view of giving people with epilepsy a seizure and disability free life.

Sectors
Advocacy; Education/Training; Health; Research/Documentation/Info Dissemination

Activism is my rent on Earth

Electronic activism . . . get involved and use ICTs to advocate, lobby and mobilize.

Powerlessness and silence go together. We should use our positions not as a shelter from the world's reality, but as a platform from which to speak. A voice is a gift. It should be cherished and used.
