Objectives
  • To capacity build youth and youth institutions and develop them as leaders and strategic partners in community development.
  • To create platforms where marginalized and disadvantaged young men and women interact, exchange and have access to information and resources for their development.
  • To promote gender equality, democracy, good governance, defend human rights and document abuses and foster youth participation through the use of the arts.
  • To provide young people with the opportunity to serve as active volunteers and acquire the skills to be active partners in their decision-making structures of governance and management.
Mission Statement
BornFree builds and supports young people in Zimbabwe, creating opportunities for their economic, social and political participation. BornFree engages young people through performing arts, leadership and entrepreneurial skills training, capacity building initiatives and community voluntary action.
