Kubatana.net
January 22, 2013

Describe yourself in five words?
Christian. Leftist. Radical. Humble. Patriotic.

What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
Study to show yourself approved - a workman who has no need to be ashamed.

What's the most ridiculous thing you've ever done?
Had a strange bout of sleepwalking when l was much younger.

What is your most treasured possession?
My closest friends.

What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
Lives lived in unjust and repressed situations - personal or public, devoid of hope, given to helplessness.

Do you have any strange hobbies?
I am very plain actually. I do however have the curious habit of soliciting meaningful conversation with strangers e.g. with the random juice card vendor or the guard at the building entrance (highly therapeutic and inspirational most of the time).

What do you dislike most about your appearance?
My growing tummy which left to its own devices will condemn me to the unsavoury appearance of a ball-like short man - God forbid - gym here l come!

What is your greatest extravagance?
I do have a penchant for fine meals and single malt drinks when the company is good.

What have you got in your fridge?
Basic stuff - lots of leftovers, a bit January diseased.

What is your greatest fear?
The prospect of wasted potential, unrealised dreams and missed opportunities.

What have you got in your pockets right now?
My wallet. What have you got in your wallet? - a need for cash donations!

What is your favourite journey?
Leisurely drive around the scenic eastern highlands (with my baby by my side and a nice cd playing).

Who are your heroes in real life?
My late grandmother and a lot of the women striving to make a living in a context that is heavily tilted against them.

When and where were you happiest?
My wedding.

What's your biggest vice?
Procrastination.

What were you like at school?
Happy go lucky.

What are you doing next?
Writing reports (sadly).
