Describe yourself in five words?
Versatile: sport; music; parent & communicator.

What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
Some losses, like losing weight, can actually be gains!

What's the most ridiculous thing you've ever done?
Riding on an elephant & waving at the camera man - nearly slipped!

What is your most treasured possession?
Hmmm, my portable grand piano.

What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
Missing a live Manchester United vs Arsenal match!

Do you have any strange hobbies?
Nah . . . maybe shooting at lizards with toy guns with my two sons.

What do you dislike most about your appearance?
Hic hic! I am trying to get rid of my tummy but have never been on target.

What is your greatest extravagance?
$25 on a meal in Bulawayo a week ago! No choice if you are having a no-host dinner with the boss!

What have you got in your fridge?
Hmmmm, last time I checked there was enough beef, chicken & pork to last us the next few days, some cough mixtures, milk and yeah, some ice cube packs for the next Obama Boys football team match.

What is your greatest fear?
Unnatural dying.

What have you got in your pockets right now?
Hah ha! My wallet, my phone, a notebook and a pen.

What is your favourite journey?
I miss going shopping for groceries in Mozambique via Nyamapanda border post in 2008 or thereabout.

Who are your heroes in real life?
Too many; I see people through many lenses; good and bad. All my former teachers are heroes; the Obamas; Nelson Mandela; the late ZAPU leader Joshua Nkomo; Beatrice Mtetwa; Trevor Ncube; Strive Masiyiwa; Geoff Nyarota, Peter Ndlovu. I could go on and on.

When and where were you happiest?
At Baines Avenue Clinic (twice in 2003 & 2009) - being present when my two sons joined me in this complex world!

What's your biggest vice?
Sweet things.

What were you like at school?
Quiet & unassuming; no one, including myself, cared & noticed I was ever there!

What are you doing next?
Meeting a news agency with my boss!
